Double Knit Dishcloth/Washcloth

Ready to practice reading a pattern, and feeling like you made something fancy without being intimidated by it? Great! For this pattern you will need to know how to:

  • Cast On
  • Knit
  • Slip a stitch
  • Read a pattern
  • Weave in ends

All of these skills are taught in the Beginner level Workshops. If you are a B1 graduate, this is a great confidence builder. If you are a B3 graduate, this pattern would be great exercise and to throw in your purse for on-the-go knitting!

I like simple designs that I can memorize, the pattern below reflects that need. Feel free to save or print it if needed, but you should be able to remember it easily.

*NOTE: I forgot to add to the pattern that you can adjust the amount of rows as needed to create the size you would like. Sizes tend to vary because of gauge and needle sizes. Just be sure to leave two rows for two rows of just knit to make it match the beginning rows and sides.
